Meet Brett Weston
Financial Advisor
Brett studied accounting at the University of Utah, acquiring a master’s degree in financial planning and his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®). He was drawn to financial planning after discovering the F.I.R.E. movement (Financial Independence, Retire Early) and realizing that personal finance was more about life planning than simply managing finances.
Desiring authenticity with clients, Brett decided to start his career at a fee-only financial planning firm in Murray, UT but later joined Medicus Wealth Planning after meeting the team and appreciating the no-nonsense philosophy of acting as fiduciaries for clients.
As a life-long athlete, Brett enjoys basketball, pickleball, and backpacking. He seeks to constantly improving different skills including coding, chess, biking, piano, guitar, and speaking French and Portuguese. He also enjoys volunteering his time at the University of Utah and International Rescue Committee.
