Kevin Michels, CFP, EA

Kevin graduated from Utah Valley University with a degree in personal financial planning and shortly after became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and IRS Enrolled Agent (EA).

He started his career with Fidelity Investments which is where he found his passion for helping individuals and families reach financial independence. In 2014, Kevin partnered with David Luke and they later formed Medicus Wealth Planning.

In addition to working with clients, he enjoys writing about financial planning and is an active participant in the professional financial planning community by serving on the Public Relations Committee of the Financial Planning Association’s - Utah Chapter.

He lives in Riverton, Utah with his wonderful wife, Lauren, and their four children. They love being active and spending time together as a family, especially at their kid's sporting events. Kevin loves playing soccer and basketball, mountain biking, and working out. Him and Lauren rarely miss a Real Salt Lake, Utah Jazz, or Minnesota Vikings game.
